Dragons come in a variety of sizes and lifespans. Their size and lifespan are intimately tied together, so much so that among their own kind they refer to themselves by time denominations. Among the other races, however, they are simply known by two delineations: dragons and mini-dragons.
Mini-dragons are Decades according to their own kind. Their lifespans are number in mere decades, usually five to eight. Mini-dragons are about the size of large house cats. Ferals are smaller in size than those that have bonded.
The most common 'large' dragons are the Century dragons. They can live eight to nine centuries, though they are often hunted by many of the other races, especially for their scales.
There are rumours of other dragon types, including the Eternity dragon which is a religious fixture to the dragonkind.
